My contractor that was redoing my bathroom explained to me that if this was attached by the 2 little screws and weight was put on it, it would come right out of the wall. He said that a true bath grab bar has at least 4 holes drilled into each end to attach to the shower wall firmly. He said this looked more like what a standard towel rack would have. I went to Lowe's and got a proper bath handle grab bar. I will be returning this one. Thank goodness he showed us the difference, I am looking for safety first.

Solid and matches well with my oiled bronze bathroom fixtures, though the color is listed as black. I only wish the round attachment brackets and covers were larger, since the screws are very close to the bar and you have to be careful when putting them in.

This order came promptly. Just what we needed. We are an older couple and this is what we need to help us get out of the shower without fear of falling. We installed this and are well pleased. Very good, sturdy product.

Very nice bar. Well crafted with no flaws. No instructions to let you know how to loosen the mounting flange screw to align the 3 mounting holes for easy access. Comes with screws & anchors, but try to hit a stud.

Great quality with respect to chrome. The mounting base is very small and the hardware that came with them useless. If you are mounting into studs you can get some better screws and these bars will be perfect. I some spots where I had to use wall anchors and the base is too small.
