Bought this to replace a similar sign (of unknown age) that split in half for unknown reasons and for another business in the same complex as mine. My own business has a sign similar to this one as well. I like that it has the clock and hands on the closed part so you can indicate when you'll be back. If you have it on an outside door, the hook on the suction cup alone may not be enough to keep it in place, especially if it's windy (ours ended up in the parking lot one day and thankfully was turned in to another business in the complex who gave us their tips on how to keep it from happening again--just so happens that business was the one who needed the new sign).

we use a fancy open close sign on the store door. I use this one in case I have to run out grab lunch or what have ya, even on the days you're going to be a few in the bathroom

Great sign that is reversible with open on one side and closed with a clock to adjust time on when to return , on the other side.Works well on a glass door at my work.

I am aware several have had a problem with the dimensions but you just need to measure? The punch holes are hard to see in the picture and I don't see their use if it comes attached with a chain. Perfect for a dorm room door to notify roommates when studying without being rude.
