I had to change the 12V battery in my i3, and when finished, I needed to "register" the new battery with the car. This device, and associated software, allowed me to do that in minutes. This saved an expensive trip to the dealer for them to reset the error. I am very happy to have been able to do this myself, and to do it so easily.

Very easy to use ... once I read the "Manual"! Tried to use it straight out of the box but had to refer to the manual to set it up. It does lose connection now and then and does take a little while to connect. But, I really like this product. I got this because it had the wi-fi option. Great value.

Do your homework... Read the owner's manual... Identify how you would like your car to be setup... Watch those great YouTube videos about that.It is a little confusing when you are supposed to access the BMW i3 code thru a WiFi network from this device... use your hotspot on your phone... be out of a garage in open air for a better signal....If you find it does not work EXACTLY the 1st time... be patient... download the "BimmerCode" App...It's worth it... run the REX motor any time... increase gas tank 0.5 gallons... have certain lights come on at night when you approach the vehicle... Set-up the ECOPRO+ mode for max range the way YOU WANT IT.

Worked just as expected the first time I used it. The second time, however, would not work - connected (WiFi) just fine but could not be used to read vehicle data (same vehicle and software as the first time used).

Great peace of equipment. I received it, read over the instructions, downloaded the app on my cell phone. I was able to access my jeep wrangler and get to what I needed and update it and it only took a few minutes.

Easy to use WiFi right to iphones. Used with programmer to change tire size and ddl.
