Bonne Maman Preserve, Strawberry, 13-Ounce

This is a wonderful brand. I’ve been buying from this brand for many years and have never been disappointed. The jars I bought from Amazon arrived wrapped in bubble wrap and they had better expiration dates than the jars I’ve purchased from local stores. This brand uses sugar instead of corn syrup. And their preserves taste like they were made at home, rather than in a laboratory. They have the type of ingredients people use to make homemade preserves. And the flavors are wonderful. I use them in plain yogurt often. They’re also great when you’re craving pie, especially the varieties typically found in fruit pies. A little bit on a mild cracker can satisfy a pie craving when it’s not safe for you to be alone with an entire pie. And the jars have a nice vintage look. They look good sitting in the kitchen if you need to store unopened jars where they show. I reuse the jars for all sorts of things. They make wonderful drinking glasses and they fit well in small hands because of their shape. They’re also good for making small glasses of tea in the fridge. This makes them an even better value. These preserves tend to be on the sweet side, like homemade preserves are. They’re a wonderful texture and the flavors are all very good. If I received them as a gift, I’d be thrilled. Anyone who appreciates good preserves would probably love them.

The ONLY jam I buy because it’s excellent (tastes like homemade) comes in glass jars (thank you) and this company helped the Jews during Hitlers reign of terror. Although I am not Jewish, I have utmost respect for them and like their ethics, they make quality jam you can trust. Highly recommend

A family favorite. It is a go-to, perfect flavor. We are never disappointed in this. Will order again.

Bits of strawberries and not overly sweet.

Today I received 2 jars of this strawberry jam. Both were well wrapped in bubble wrap and the lids were not popped. I was relieved due to the last jar I ordered, the lip was popped so I threw away the contents and I love to reuse the jars for storing pantry ingredients and I use them in my bathroom medicine cabinet to store toothpaste and toothbrushes. I love all of the multiple uses for these jars. Oh, The jam is delicious also.

I have loved this jam for several years. However in the last few months it has gotten thicker. By that I mean when you opened it it was very spreadable. Now it seems they are using more pectin which is making it "harder". Please don't change a good thing.
