Awesome!
This is my first mbrp cat back. Typically I cut the stock mufflers off and replace with a flow master. I wanted to keep my stock exhaust for the future of I sell my truck or get tires of the exhaust.First things first. It came packaged nicely. There was very mild rust where the oil wasn't on the pipe. I cleaned off all the oil from the pipes and roughed it up some. I sprayed high temp primer and spray 2-3 layers of black high temp paint to help prevent rusting early. It came with a pipe with a welded flanged that attaches to the flange on the stock pipe. It has the muffler, a rear pipe that goes over the back axel, two exhaust clamps one has a hanger welded on it, instructions, and a red mbrp sticker. If you have a short bed you'll need to cut off 13 and some inches, if you have a long bed no cutting is needed. The system went together easily. Make sure to spray wd40 on your flange bolts, and the rubber mounts it'll make your job easier. Also it wouldn't hurt to put anti seize on the bolts to help prevent rusting. The exhaust actually sounds decent definitely not a v8 sound it's only V6. The price was right so far so good.

Excellent for the price!
The media could not be loaded. Just like the other reviews on here, its pretty good!PROS: The price is just right, specially if you go off road where you'll have rocks, sand, and dirt hit and scratch around. The sound isn't too loud (even on highway cruising speed), but it is significant enough to be noticed and appreciated. No gas mileage change for me.CONS: Needs high heat rust proof paint, otherwise it'll rust over time like the OE (I had to cut the OE bolts off because they were rusted all over).NOTE: Short beds will need some cutting, but measuring, cutting and aligning was easy.

Was skeptical... but for the money, this is your best bang for the buck!
I was a bit skeptical of this catback exhaust. I'm glad to say my misgivings were misplaced! This was super easy to install (2 bolts) and hooked right up to the stock hangers. I did have to cut the one pipe to fit my short bed, but my reciprocating saw made that easy. From start to finish, it took me about 15 minutes to change out my exhaust! It definitely improves the sound on my 2019 Tacoma Sport from stock. I was fearful this exhaust would be too loud - I wasn't looking for anything loud, just deeper and a bit more throaty. While it still doesn't sound like a V8, it does sound better! For $200ish, you can't beat this exhaust! The one drawback I have found is that there is a bit of a cabin drone at 1700 rpm and again at 2700 - 3200 RPM. Other than that, the exhaust note is just fine, and no drone. I hear that you can cut a bit off the tailpipe end and it will take care of the drone. I haven't done this, as the drone hasn't really bothered me all that much, but it's something you might want to look into if the drone gets on your nerves.Definitely a great product for the money, and I'm happy with my purchase!

Incomplete, affordable, DIY exhaust
I'm only giving this product 4 stars because it requires a bit more than buying it and bolting it on. Based on other reviews I read about rust and corrosion I went ahead and put on two coats of DEI exhaust coating / paint. Along with the painting I also purchased the exhaust tip that goes with this and it has helped a ton.In cab noise is not bad, slight drone up hilla from 3k - 3.5k, however my AEM I take is louder than the exhaust in car so when I'm towing up hills above 4k RPM all I hear in the cab is my intake. From outside the car the exhaust sounds beefy and on cold starts, definitely gives it that truck sound, well as good as a v6 can sound anyway. If you're willing to do some leg work to make this exhaust system perfect it wont cost you too much more which was the whole point of buying this system over a more expensive one.I would recommend this exhaust but be aware you need to coat it, and purchase an exhaust tip to really finish it off. If you want something quiet and and peaceful incab experience I would not recommend this system. Doesn't bother me any for my in town driving but if you're hauling or going up hills good luck talking on the phone. All in all great value for the price, I cannot say that I have noticed any MPG gains as I dont often do highway driving that isn't on mountain roads but it has helped out the power band of the car, noticeably when paired with an AEM intake.

Great exhaust, for 1/3rd the cost of others.
I love this exhaust, I installed it on a 2017 Tacoma TRD 4x4 Sport DCSB in about an hour by myself. All you need is a 14mm wrench/socket. For my truck I had to cut 13 1/4" off the non flange side of the front MBRP pipe. Some people have said that it requires a lift to remove the stock exhaust which was not true for me. I had to finagle a little bit to get the back of the exhaust to come up over the rear differential but it was fairly easy. Now I do have a little extra height in front Rough Country spacers and 265/70/17 BFG tires, but I believe even at stock height it's possible. When installing the MBRP exhaust, tighten down the front pipe you may or may not have had to cut good and tight. Just leave all the nuts on the clamps loose until you have the hangers on the rubber pieces and you are happy with the alignment of things. Go back and tighten the clamps down good and that's it! Enjoy your new MBRP cat back. I love the sound, it's only really loud when I want it to be, and I have already noticed atleast a 1mpg increase in tank average fuel economy. If you are on the fence about this exhaust, just do it. For $209 you won't be disappointed!

Nice aggressive sound for a Great Price!
Such an easy install, I had it done in about an hour with the help of my wife. It does sound a little aggressive but it sounds great after it settles in. Nice low tone when cruising and aggressive scream when WOT. For the price I couldn’t be happier. The three inch pipe with no tip actually looks good, it’s such a nice looking exhaust especially with a three inch coming out. Looks almost stock. For those complaining about cutting for the short bed, give me a break, it took 1 min with a sawzall and they give you exact measurements for a perfect fit.

Sounds great! Fit perfectly!
This exhaust fit perfectly. Had to cut the lead pipe just like the instructions said. Only issue is doesn't say which side is in or out. After calling MBRP. You need to be able to read MBRP on the muffler from the passenger side!

Nice cheap exhaust
Very nice exhaust for the price, much cheaper than any other kit. Bolts up and aligns with factory hangers perfectly. The exhaust is quite loud and very very raspy with heavy throttle. Pretty good for around town but if you're pulling a trailer maybe look elsewhere - pulled a car on a trailer for 3 hours and the drone was unbearable due to being under load a lot of the time.
