Cyber Acoustics USB Speaker Bar (CA-2890) – Stereo USB Powered Speaker, Easily Clamps to Monitor, Convenient Controls

I was getting fed up of the frankly rubbish sound quality from my (otherwise good) laptop speakers, so after searching online settled on these to solve the problem. And they do, not massively loud, but a big improvement on laptop speakers for music, video and teleconferencing. The clip is a convenient shape that avoids blocking the camera, and the sound quality is pretty good. I like the option to plug into USB or USB-C (I mostly use the latter as it doesn't get used for much else), and not requiring power or more than just the one plug. The buttons on it are interchangeable with screen/keyboard controls for volume and muting. A good honest sensibly priced product, that isn't too big (photo here is on a 15.5" laptop screen), and will fit in the pocket of my laptop bag without taking it all up.

This unit is very slim and clips under monitor I was not expecting very much from this speaker but what a shock I got the sound is very good and the there is plenty of volume … music and sprach are very clear and strange for such a small unit the bass is very good Well worth the price

I was looking to replace my old Logitech Z205 speakers, now becoming crackly at higher volume through a decade of use. The Cyber Acoustics CA-2890 fits the bill admirably. It’s similarly convenient, in that it clips neatly onto the top of my laptop and connects directly via USB. No set up required, no extra cables. In my judgment the sound is slightly better than the Logitech was when new. You won’t be using this little baby to carve out a new career as a DJ, nor will the bass response be shaking the foundations of your home, but neither will the volume and quality disappoint the average laptop user. So it does the job, and as well as you could wish for at the price. Whether the CA-2890 can offer the same length of service that I got from the Logitech is for a future report.

Very impressed! Absolutely great quality, sound is clear and goes very loud, use it all the time! Absolute gem for the price

great sound for such a small speaker

Its a good device. Decent sound. Buy randomly disconnects from computer, and can take a long time to get it back connected.

This speaker was fine at first but now it won't come on with the computer. I can sometimes get it to power up by swapping the USB port it is plugged into but sometimes even this this doesn't work.

For £25 I think this is a great deal. Size is smaller than I expected and it’s a bit light and “plasticky” but sound is very good for the price. It’s light. Attaches easily to my 27” monitor. Dead easy to set up. Other reviewers comments on tinny sound/lack of bass. It’s really not that noticeable to me. I started with a song with a deep bass line on Spotify and adjusted controls as needed. I’ll mostly be using this for conference calls and webinars so music isn’t that important (I use my ear buds). Overall very pleased. Will report back if anything changes. Hopefully will last.

If you are trying to clear off desk space without breaking the bank, the Cyber Acoustics CA-2890 USB Speaker Bar is a highly practical solution. Available at a very good price on Amazon, it is an excellent choice for anyone on a budget. The setup is incredibly straightforward; the true plug-and-play functionality requires absolutely no software installation, running entirely off a single USB connection. Furthermore, the convenient, spring-loaded clip allows for an instant clip-on install right onto your monitor frame to maximize workspace. While it delivers decent, clear sound quality that projects audio forward cleanly, it is important to manage your expectations. The bass is noticeably thin, so you shouldn't expect high-quality or audiophile-grade performance. However, for casual media viewing, daily video calls, and basic desktop needs, it is an overall good choice that gets the job done affordably.

Ahorra espacio al poderse colocar colgado en el monitor. Por indicar una sugerencia yo haría más ancha la pinza por la cual se sujeta al monitor

Exactly what i was looking for. Compact and value for money.

Looks No.1 Perfectly fitting on monitor. Good sound quality. Single wire with USB port connecter. It’s easy to use and easy to install, just plug and play.
