could a cat play this?

A cat wouldn't want to play it since the noise is very obnoxious

What kind of battery is required for the toddler toy?

Hi friend, Thank you for your inquiry. 3 AA batteries are required for the toddler game. Best regards, VATOS TEAM

Does anyone know where to get reolacement coins? Or what a good alternative coin would be to use?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001UG17MS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details this is the best replacement I was able to find! It is slightly thicker than the original coins the game comes with, but it works with this toy! Hi, does this have a setting that could be challenging for a 12 year old?. my son is slowly building a mini arcade, and wants a whac-a-mole game. tu!

I strongly suggest you DO NOT PURCHASE this for a 12 yr old period. It's so small it could fit inside a shoebox with room left over. 2 people playing would be impossible without banging into each other's hands. This is an $10 toy being sold for $50 with deceptive pictures.
