The main board does not relate to the size of the machine. Do you mean that you make your onw A2 plooter with this main board?

Q: Why would the servo get hot? Same servo as pictured above.

The ARM of the servo, the angle of ARM should be at 45-60 degree. Other wise it will get hot.
