Outstanding
"Mental Toughness for Young Athletes" is an outstanding book that provides valuable insights and practical strategies for developing mental resilience in young sports enthusiasts. The author breaks down complex psychological concepts into easy-to-understand language, making it accessible for both athletes and their parents. Each chapter is filled with real-life examples, actionable tips, and exercises designed to build confidence, focus, and perseverance. What I appreciate most is the emphasis on a positive mindset and handling pressure, which are crucial skills both on and off the field. This book is a must-read for any young athlete looking to enhance their mental game and achieve their full potential. Highly recommended!

Great Motivational Book
This is one of the best motivational books I've ever read. In fact, I've read the entire series, and it's only gotten better. I haven't made time to review the videos yet, bit that's next. And I have a lot of work to do. I already get up at 4:30 every morning, so now it's simply a matter of changing what I do when I get up. Oh, yeah! I'm 54, and I've read these books primarily for working with my kids, but the information is for anyone at any age. Now I can use what I've learned to lead by example. I know that once my kids start seeing results from my work they'll have a different respect for doing what I tell them when it's their time. Thanks Troy and Moses!

Worth the Read
Nice take on both the parent and athlete perspective for working through the mental aspects of training and competition. Whether in sports or academics, building and maintaining confidence is key. This book provides some strategies for building and maintaining the mental toughness when challenges come your way.

Love this book!
As a coach I chose this book to get a new outlook on GRIT to reframe the concept to my players. I love everything about this book although I would've reframed the chapter about trash talking and would've focused more on athletes being more affirmative of themselves (which you covered later throughout the book). Again, I loved this book and would recommend to my athletes, fellow coaches, and parents! These topics are key to being great and I love that it was a father/son duo!

Immediately Impactful!!
I had a daughter who possesses all the skills to be an amazing athlete. But what she lacks if the confidence and the belief in herself so it will carry over from home practice to team practice, then to game time.Troy and Moses have written a guide for my young athlete to follow that has allowed her to quickly transition home practice all-star to on the field all-star.Their tips are easily implemented and have had a immediate impact.I’m working on implementing their book with all the parents on both my kids teams.
