First and foremost: NOT a fisherman. Barely fished a day in my life.That being said:I’ve not used it, but I wanted a folding net for a bug out bag. It’s a bit of a pain to keep together when folded so loss of a Star there. But, should I ever have to use it, it looks like it will do the job well. We tugged on it, and put it through its paces (had the kids play tug-o-war lol), and it held up just fine. From an inexperienced view, it seems like a good net. I wanted something small and portable, that’ll help get the fish in the boat, this seems to fit that bill.

Great net for 7$ and free shipping. It held my 3 pound bass with no problem. Fits perfectly in my tackle box and in my canoe.
