They will stay stuck until you physically remove it. :)

Can this be used with a laptop?

Yes! It is great for a laptop, as you have a flat surface on the back to attach it.

This may be an obvious question, this glues to the back of the keyboard correct?

No glue. There are pads that kind of adhere to the back of the keyboard but it is not sticky. Mine have never let loose but if they do you just rinse them off and reapply them. Very simple to use.
