Not sure. This handle is much better made than original, slightly larger, and heavier. You won't be disappointed.

Does this have a plate to put razor in when not using like the normal Gillette razors

There was "NO" plate or tray that came with this purchase. Also, I threw this item in the trash. The weight is definitely heavier then expected and for me was cumbersome. The final straw was when the center component, that joins the handle and razor, separated at the handle. Disappointing to say the least.

Aluminum or stainless. I believe it is stainless because it is so heavy.

A badly designed tool

This razor has been badly designed with the ribbed length for gripping not more than 2.5 cm . The alloy used gets hot if the razor is dipped in hot water for more than 3-4 minutes . Better design was expected from Gillette .
