Don't Forgive Too Soon: Extending the Two Hands That Heal

Did not find the ideas and stories in this book as helpful for forgiveness and the healing of past hurts as the positive changes in self-perception brought about with 'Healing The Purpose Of Your Life' and 'Good Goats : Healing Our Image of God' , and with the practice of a (simple) Examen ,as suggested by 'Sleeping With Bread', all by the same authors. Nonetheless, I expect it to be of use - read in the light of her own wisdom, discernment and experience - to the friend who I've passed this book on to.

Not for everyone - not for those who think forgiveness is easy or unnecessary. However, this is a practical guide to help people acknowledge their own needs whilst seeking to reach out to others. I've used the principles from this book with others and they have also found them helpful. Emphasis on journey - not one step process.

Useful book on forgiveness, easy to read and follow with many useful insights and practical questions arising from practical experience and honed as a result of workshops and retreat work.

Book delivered just as requested. Good book with clear easy to read wisdom. Very helpful to anyone on a journey of forgiveness - all of us!
