Do you plug one in all 4 usb ports on the macbook pro? Or only one and leave the other 4 ports free?

I'm not sure, I would contact an Apple sales or coffee shop. I would suspect only one needs to be used, but I got mine for my phone (Android) that only has one port. Wish I could be more helpful.

Will notification like email, text, etc. sound out loud while this is plugged in?
