I am very impressed with the HiBOY KS4 Pro ever since I took it out of the box. I love everything about it and I'm very happy with the Customer Service from HiBOY prior to purchasing to assist with any questions to be sure I'm comfortable with receiving a quality product.The unit itself was securely packed and easy to unbox, with clear instructions and also QR code to download the HiBOY app. Assembly was very simple by just screwing the handlebars onto the column. I made sure to charge it all the way before riding the first time, the charger is compact and easy to use.The unit itself is study, well made and in great condition out of the box, it's not too heavy to maneuver if you need to carry it around. It folds up and snaps to lock itself for easy transport and can definitely fit in a trunk or backseat of a car with ease.The heads up display offers clear icons and a few simple presses of the "power" button can change the settings, turn on the light, and switch between speed modes. The HiBOY app can help as well and it's fantastic that the unit "locks" itself from powering on by using the app for any quick moments where you leave it unattended. Whether you wish to cruise at 13 or 19MPH, the throttle is very responsive and the cruise control feature works great. The dual-braking system is excellent too, easy pressure on the brake lever can bring you to a controlled stop with ease. Riding at night feels very safe, with the headlight appropriately angled downward enough ahead of you - and the red running board lights make it clear to anyone else to see you, plus the tail light is bright too.The battery life is as advertised as well, I usually ride at the 13MPH speed and probably completed a 10 mile ride and had more than half the battery remaining! The ride of the scooter is very smooth for not having "air-filled" tires. It can handle an incline as well with myself weighing about 190lbs. The rubber tires are large, handle bumps with ease and grip the ground well for a confident and safe ride. I would steer clear of dirt, mud and water as recommended. The grip of the handlebars is good too to keep my hands secure.Overall, I have a lot of trust with this scooter and it's certainly fun! I've already recommended it to friends!

I've owned one for several months now, and use it all the time.I'm a grown man (~200lbs), and carry my 5 year old around on it (to and from the community pool).The charge lasts an incredible amount of time.The 500w motor is sufficient for my weight - was a little fast at first, but now I'd like one faster :-)....the motor is strong enough to pull me up a fairly steep hill (slowly, but it will get you up)The brakes work very well, and feel confidence inspiring.The headlight is surprisingly bright, and the accent lights on the bottom are not only super cool but help others see you at night!The bell is dinky, but hey there is one .... LOLThe app is functional, and the CC works. I guess I might use it if I was traveling a long distance on a greenway or something.It folds down easily, and fits in the trunk of most cars (a little tight fit in the back of my Wrangler, but I make it work)A ton of friends and family have drove it around, and they always return w/ a huge grin on their face!It really is the most fun you can have for this much money!

Edit: Finally, received and installed the new controller and the error went away. Hiboy support sent a new controller and the error went away.Issue/solution: The scooter is showing an error code (E4) on the second day. I have emailed support and they says the controller needs to be replaced.They provided three options1 - Replace the whole scooter with a new one. I will need to return the broken one.* Might be the better choice and also easier one to do then replacing the controller.2 - Ship me the controller part and I will need to install it.* The installation is a LOT of work. It required slicing wire sleeve tubing and unscrewing. Sleeve tubing wasn't included so if you want to have them which you should because it will be better protected. You will have to buy them yourself. If so, get the marine level ones which is waterproofing. For heating the sleeve, you will also need a heat gun. So, if you are not handy, I would suggest just get the replacement or a refund instead.3 - Refund the scooter. I will need to ship back the scooter.I went with option 2 - replacing the controller. I didn't feel like returning the whole scooter since overall the scooter is a good scooter (if it works). I also thought changing the part will be a faster and easier process to get the scooter to work again. If I was told earlier that changing the part will take this much time and work, I would have went with the other options.The worst part is waiting, but guess not hiboy fault. Their support team is in Asia which is 8hrs difference. So, communication usually take a day or two through email. It took over a week for the part to arrived.Again, getting a whole scooter replacement or refund might be a better option than replacing the controller yourself.With no error now, I can once again enjoy riding the scooter.
