This product is perfect for home cooks like myself. While cleaning up my kitchen, I always make sure to turn off the frying pan and toss a scoop of this in the pan immediately. Sometimes, I'll let it set over night and in morning, toss away solid oil in the trash can. The pans are much easier to clean.

I liked that this works well but I only had enough for one batch of grease. I won't buy it again and will just dispose of grease the old way. Too expensive for the amount of product you get in a package.

This is a great idea. Just make sure that your oil is warm when you pour the product in your pan when it hardens you just throw it in your garbage. This is a way better idea than putting oil down the drain which is something you don’t ever wanna do

If you don’t have spare jars, this does the trick and it only takes about 15-30 grams, depending on how much you oil you have.Sprinkle this in when the oil is hot enough to dissolve it and the oil will coagulate as it cools and stays solid at room temperature then scoop it out with a spatula.This would not be needed in the winter if it is cold enough as you could put your pan outside and let nature do it for you.Reuse your oil first and use this when the oil becomes dark.

I rarely write reviews, but this product was so lame, and misrepresented, that I feel compelled to say something. First, the product page says, "Ships from Quickshine USA," but in fact it shipped from overseas and came weeks after I ordered. More important, it didn't work. It's supposed to solidify cooking oil to be easily scooped out of the pan. But it just left a sticky mess that was very difficult to clean. Worse, the bag it came in is not even re-sealable. I had to fold it over and tape it shut.

It work perfectly. Wish it came in a bigger pack. I plan to buy again. And would recommend. Great around holiday or big family gatherings. With a lot of frying. Just need to be offered in multi packs.

Works exactly as described, very useful. I only shallow-fry, so one packet will last me a bit longer than for someone who deep-fries. It creates a waxy/fatty substance, and the internet says it creates some kind of matrix to trap the fat. I’m still not sure how it works. It’s very expensive for the amount you get, but it does what it says it does!
