First timer here. I often get comments that I look pasty and pale, which doesn't make me feel great, so I thought I'd try this based on the reviews, and I'm pretty happy with it. I exfoliated the day before and I only used surgical gloves and let my fingers do the work of rubbing it in. It's a white cream that's smells great, I only did one application and it's definitely noticeable. I also noticed it's given me a bit of a glow too which is a nice bonus. I completely ignored the rules and applied it straight on my face so good job it's turned out fine! I don't recommend doing it when the weather is hot unless you have a fan to keep your face dry, otherwise I image it would easily become uneven from sweating. Also if you have chins, yes plural, it might be a good idea to lie down and tilt your head back and wait for the solution to completely dry. Regretully I didn't do this :-)

Wow! This stuff is amazing! I'm attending a wedding in Spain and will be wearing a knee length dress with bare legs which were quite pasty compared to the rest of me. I bought the lighter of the two options, to play it safe. It's so easy to use - goes on like body lotion. No need to exfoliate or wear a mitten. Just rub it in. After just two applications my legs are a lovely shade of light brown. No orange streaks, just a natural looking tanned appearance. Fake tan has come along way and I'm impressed.

Nice to apply with a realistic tan developing over a few hours. Nice odour and leaves the skin feeling smooth.

St Tropez is my favourite brand when it comes to self-tanning, and this product definitely doesn't disappoint. If you like a dark, fast tan, then this is for you. If not, then opt for the lighter shade. The best thing about this product is the drying speed, my white bedsheets stay white and there's barely any of that nasty fragrance that leaves you smelling like a day-old biryani! They also do a lovely watermelon one which is lighter but equally as good. Just make sure you wash your hands really well after use.

This product is so brilliant, I am utterly dreadful at applying any kind of gradual tan but this one was genuinely foolproof for me.I needed to do my legs for a party but was putting it off hopeless as I am at this so when panic got the better of me with three days to go I ordered this and applied it one morning, that evening and then again on the morning of the party and it worked an absolute treat, not deeply bronzed but looking just like a natural sun kiss.Secret for me is to treat it like a body lotion but apply less in dry areas rather than more sweeping over them as the last thingand put off getting dressed as long as possible. No lines, no dark knees, elbows or ankles - AND it doesn’t smell of biscuits!

The colour is gorgeous and develops quickly however, the smell is awful. If this didn’t smell so bad I would have given 5 stars

This tan is amazing!! I’ve used loads over the years but this and the water melon one are my absolute favourites! It gives you such a nice natural tan!

First application - barely any colour and a little patchy (despite prepping). Did build to a nice even colour after second application
