The hands were smaller than I expected so I wound up using the old ones, which fit perfectly. No harm, no foul.

Very accurate. Easy McGuyver install in a 20 year old wind up clock I have that stopped working. I like mechanics and got a few paperbacks on windup clock repair. It requires waaaay too much time and money to fix those things. Just gut the thing behind the face and slap in a pair of these. Slightly smaller than expected but my old clock hands were quite meaty.
