Great fro what it's made for. Solid metal plate, NOT WIRE MESH, so you don't have to worry about it tearing. 3 is overkill, but the price was unbeatable.

I got the 2 size set. They are simple stamped stainless steel. It feels thin, yet adequate enough for the job. It's not like you are straining heavy weight materials from the pot.The BONUS, however, is that the 2 strainers have different mesh sizes. The smaller one has a very slightly larger mesh than the larger one. Very interesting, and since it's not advertised that way, I am wondering if it's just happenstance that I got the 2 different sizes. But it is an unexpected bonus and certainly one will be able to fit whatever straining task is needed.

Also good for skimming seeds from raspberry sauce or tomato purée. Catches tiny bones & sand grains from meat & seafood broths. A size appropriate for any pot. Excellent gift for a cook.

All 3 work well. Shallow scoops require repeated swipes.
