This remote works great. It comes preprogrammed. Just had to add batteries.

Great remote, worked right out of the box after batteries, great price!
The TV that this was purchased for was an older Vizio that is at least 10 years old (model E390i-A1). The old remote just stopped working for some reason. I needed mostly the input function to remotely switch from satellite to Firestick. This arrived, I put in new AAA batteries (2 of them), and it worked right away; no programming or anything else. Great price for a decent remote! Seems as sturdy or even better than the old remote. Recommended. Hope this helps you decide.

Works perfectly
Just as some others reviewers mentioned, this works immediately. I didn't even have to turn my TV on first - I put the batteries in and pointed at the TV and it turned on! I would highly recommend this product - easy to set up and even works on the sleep function for the TV. I'm impressed. After battling with my old remote for months as the buttons were difficult to operate, the transition to this remote was seamless and perfect. You can't beat the price, either. My only question is why I didn't purchase this a long time ago!

Everything works! Buttons go soft.
This remote operates every function if my model Vizio tv. Good price. Only negative is that rather quickly you have to push the buttons farther/harder because the contacts get soft or crushed.

Great remote!
Bought this remote to replace my 14 Y/O Vizio remote that suddenly died. Doesn't need programming, just put in the batteries (not included) and you're off and running. Can't get any eadier than that. Highly recommend.

It works!
I was given the 55in tv and the remote did not work. Previous owner was using the cable control and was not aware that the TV's did not work. Nice Vizio and all it cost me was the price of the control👍

Didn't last
The remote was easy to set up and use. But unfortunately it slowly stopped working no matter how many times I changed the battery. I had to order a new one already. I do wish they made remotes with a lighter background face so you could see the buttons in a dark room.
