Best shampoo ever! Best for sensitive scalp, fragrance free. Zinc is great for flakes and dandruff too. Creamier than non zinc.

I used this for a small, itchy patch in my scalp. This spot had been itchy for several weeks. This shampoo made a huge difference after just one shampoo. I only had to use it once more and my issue was gone.I selected it because of the mild ingredients and the lack of dyes and sulfates. I also chose it because I did some research and found that the active ingredient in this shampoo, zinc pyrithione, is effective for clearing up itchy (likely fungal) issues like I was having.

Effective and no excesive dryness compared to others

I’ve used it for over a week and my scalp is definitely getting better. It makes by hair feel a little oily which is why I gave it 4 stars but if I use it every other day it’s not as bad( I use Suave shampoo the next day and my hair becomes soft. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Effective, yet not too strong.

Cleared up the problem immediately. After using twice it is done. Huge improvement after one use.

I’ve used Head and Shoulders since I was 13 yrs old. (56yrs) I had a problem with dandruff, itching and sores on my scalp and it cleared it right up. Over the years I would periodically try other dandruff shampoos because I didn’t like the film Head and Shoulders left on my hair making it limp and greasy and now it is not working effectively. Within shampooing 3-4 times with these other shampoos the dandruff and itching returns, including Head and Shoulders natural.I had tried some other Vanicream products and loved them, then noticed they offered an unscented dandruff shampoo. I’ve waited so as to get several washings in to make sure it effective. I love it! My hair looks and feels clean and natural with more body and my scalp has never felt so clean. No dry skin or itching between shampooing. I wash it less and have less hair loss. (Coincidence?)

I was really excited to try this shampoo after seeing all the great reviews, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype for either me or my partner. We found it less effective than Head & Shoulders for dandruff. This is the second product I've tried from Vanicream, and it seems like their formulas just don't agree with my skin. I had high hopes given the positive feedback, but sadly it didn't work out for me.
