Petite but secure
They are very small, but perfect for a small metal box. The spring version is more secure.Hole placement is critical to function, so double check measurements before drilling.I used #4-36 machine screws to secure them.The latches are designed for a maximum #5 machine screw.

Dimensions that matter
See pic. These dimensions gave a nice snap to the toggle. (Spring Loaded version of latch, not sure about the non spring loaded)These latches work pretty well for a small light duty application.

Well designed and good quality for intended purpose
Good product for secure latching small boxes, screws are not furnished and difficult to purchase locally.

Looks good but tiny
I bought these to replace the broken latch on the portable dewalt vacuum I use at work( I replaced the guy that broke it). Unfortunately it's way too tiny to use it for that.

Tricky to line up
Once I figured out how to align the two sections, installing them was a breeze. They grip tight and work very well. They also add a nice heavy duty look to a small tool box.
