The media could not be loaded.  My dog is a grayhound/border collie mix, was never a huge fan of playing fetch, until we bought this toy. Now, that's the only thing she wants to do. This is hands down her favorite toy. She will chase after this toy, until she is ready to pass out from exhaustion. If you have a high energy pup, I cannot recommend this toy enough because it's the easiest and fun way to wear your pup out. I have taken it to the dog park a few times, and I've yet to find a dog who doesn't want to chase after this toy. Other dog owners have asked me where I got this toy, because of how much their much their dog loved it. Then immediately pulled out their phones and bought one for themselves. Some reviews complain about this toy not being durable enough, and they do fall apart. We've gone through 4 or 5 of these in the past few months. But what dog toy that's constantly played with last forever? Dog toys fall apart. It's a fact of life. But when I consider the amount of hours we've used playing with each fox tail before it fell apart vs other toys, it's actually pretty durable. If you want to make this toy last longer, make sure you do NOT play tug-of-war using this toy. It is a death sentence for this toy.

We have a 6 month old golden retriever. He weighs 65 lbs. This foxtail is his all-time #1 favorite toy - and it's not even close. When we take him to the dog park, every dog goes crazy trying to chase it. They ditch their own toys. Other dog owners love it too (or get jealous).When we go to our friend's farm, I stay by the house and can launch it over 100yds into the pond. It can fly ridiculously high and travel great distances.Observations re: durability:1) Don't use as a tug-toy. That's how the tail on our first one got ripped. This toy is best for playing fetch or for catching with other humans.2) Product is well-made, but this type of toy is obviously not as durable as a solid-rubber Kong, rawhide, or nylabone.3) Our dog has a soft grip and he's never damaged the foxtail. The only damage has come from other dogs playing tug of war. A mastiff also managed to rip the stitching around the rubber core.Overall, a seriously awesome dog toy.

All dogs love this toy, from large to small. I did have to re-order, because a big dog eventually destroyed it. It's great, fun and works well.

We loved this toy! It was lightweight and traveled far with little effort. The toy does say it is tear resistant which unfortunately is not true. Our dogs like to play tug a war when they are bringing the toy back. We returned our first one we ordered and the day I received the replacement we used it. It was destroyed after 45 minutes of use. So disappointed as it is hard to find durable toys.

I have a 7-year-old Aussie/Blue Heeler that loves to fetch as much as any retriever. I have blown my arm out with the Chuck it and the Hol-ee roller ball and the launcher was more work then it was worth. So tried the fox tail. It is so easy to throw, travels a very long distance and is fun to watch whirl through the air. Plus the long tail makes it easier to find in the snow. After we are done, I wash it off and keep it out of reach. I love this toy as much as my dog does!Update - I went from 4 stars to 1 star because, after only 2 months, the tail completely disconnected from the ball portion. I threw it maybe 50 or so times and always put it away after use. So it fell apart from use not because the dog ate it. The concept of this toy is great. But it needs to last longer than 2 months!

My younger dog loves this toy. Granted, she tears them apart if she has the chance to just gnaw on one so we've ordered about 5 this year, but you can throw them really far. This is one of her favorite outdoor toys.

My dog absolutely loves this thing!!! It goes far and easy to throw. It is not meant for tug of war!!! It will not last if you use it for that but otherwise, great product!

I have a 23lb whippet that loves to run but isn't a huge fan of chasing regular balls. This toy is her absolute favorite! The long tail makes it so easy to throw it long distances, so even my fast runner has to sprint to catch up with it. The flying tail also makes it easier for my dog to track and more enticing for her to chase. When the toy finally lands, it tends to roll, wrapping the tail around in a surprisingly eye-catching fashion. My dog goes nuts for it! The only downside is that sometimes my pup trips on the long tail when she's bringing it back--but that's my goofy pup's fault, not a flaw in the product's design. I definitely would NOT recommend this toy for dogs that are aggressive chewers since the fabric on the tail is thin by design (and when another dog snatched the foxtail and started munching on it, there were obvious thin spots in the fabric that would quickly have become tears if I hadn't intervened). However, if your dog is not a destroyer of toys, this is definitely a great product.
