โMclaneโ blade
It fits and works as it should but knowing what I know now about this blade i wouldโve rather and will next time buy a two pack from Loweโs for 9 bucks instead of waiting almost a week and paying 14 and some change for just one blade... just my opinion

NOT as pictured
I was expecting from the image to get the part shown in the image, shink wrapped and such. Instead I got what turned out to be a piece of flat stock steel with a hole punched through it.Next time I will go to a local machine shop where they will gladly sell me a piece of scrap metal cut to size with a hole in the middle for $1.

Starts right, edges at all angles
Simple setup was followed by instant start. Edging at various angles and depths makes creating a sharp clean channel a snap. On previously unedged work, it will still be necessary to edge in both directions and to complete the cut with a spade. Then, it is nothing to pick up the divot with a long-handled hayfork. Although the machine relies on a band, it is well constructed of heavy metal. Easy to move, too. Variable widths and depths can be achieved by changing the location of tires, which requires a simple, included clip.

Not at all like picture
Ordered these McLane edger blades. Should have known price was too good to be true. I ordered 6 or 7 of them - they arrived not packaged in shrink wrap like photo but individually slip sheeted with paper and rubber banded. They were the size of a McLane blade with the proper hole size and location, but they were much thinner. So thin that when I tried to put it on the edger the blade was not thick enough to allow the nut to tighten down on it. I took it off and returned the entire order. They were just thin pieces of steel cut to size with a center hole. A McLane blade is much thicker and is beveled on the edges for cutting. Returned the product and was refunded, but will not buy from supplier in future.

No McLane Blade here
the packaging of this blade looks as if some one just cut it out of 3/16" steel and bubble wrapped it in a box. It will work for a few cuttings but the dirt curb will wear this one down in no time. Beware

Edger Blades
These are standard blades for my McLane edger the same as I have purchased in hardware stores before. The price was reasonable, but the freight cost made the purchase more than they would cost at a retail store. Bought them anyway because I was having trouble finding these blades at local stores.

Mclane Edger Blade
It's a piece of metal with a hole in it. The hole is in the middle and the correct size for the shaft it goes on. The length, width and thickness are appropriate to the location on the edger. Not exactly rocket science. It works as intended.

Good and inexpensive blades
I use around 6 blades a year on my edger. These blades are inexpensive and work as well as the higher priced items. I thought the shipping was a little high but overall, since I purchase 10 at a time, the per item price was a little over $2 each.
