I originally bought one of these off the discount shelf at Walmart. After taking it home and trying it, I found it why. It wouldn't hold a charge (or even work while connecting to a charging cable). So I ordered one from Amazon to see if was of any use, since I never learned how to two-thumb type on a phone to text. Once paired. the keyboard is nice to type on. It's small form factor which closed (it folds in half and seals magnetically) makes it easy to tuck into a shirt or jacket pocket, bag or backpack for easy transit. Highly recommended.

I love that there’s no on/off switch — you just open it and it’s on and ready to use. I can quickly switch between 3 devices. The keyboard folds and fits in my back pant pocket.I only wish this had USB-C for charging. This is one of the only devices I have that uses micro-usb, and I can never find the right cord.

I purchased this on recommendation from my daughter.I was a little skeptical about the angled design, but I found it surprisingly easy to use. Every keyboard has a different feel, but I was able to adapt to this one easily.I'm an experienced 10-key typer, but if you're a hunt & peck typer I would imagine you'd get along with the keyboard just fine.It folds up very compactly, and I can put it easily into the compartment on the inside cover of the 3-ring binders that we get from Staples, a coat pocket, or into a small space in a backpack. It may fit into a men's pants pocket, but I would advise against that because it would probably break from the bending or if it was sat on.The hinge is a flexible material, not just thin plastic, and it seems to me that it will be durable. My daughter has been using hers for some time and there's no sign of wear on the bend.

I am really happy with this little keyboard! It’s compact and light. I can carry it I’m my purse. I have arthritis so that it’s a split keyboard helps by not increasing wrist pain. It was easy to connect to both my laptop and tablet. The only downside I can think of is if you have large hands it may be difficult for you to touch type on this keyboard.

I have used a number of Blue Tooth keyboards. Generic ones purchased on the Internet for as low as $14 to Logitech keyboards for $50 and up. I believe that “less is more” so I do not carry an iPad and an iPhone. I use my iPhone paired with a Blue Tooth keyboard so I don’t have an extra device in my Every Day Carry. If you carry an iPad already maybe this review is not for you, but if you want to carry the minimum for writing that still does an excellent job read on…The Targus is small, only a little wider than a Pro-Max iPhone, and not quite as tall. It is thin, just a little wider than your iPhone without a protective case. It has no on/off switch like the Logitech. You turn it on by opening it up. It is light; about the weight of your phone device without a protective case. The Targus is goof-proof when pairing. It “latches” onto your iPhone with ease. The Ergonomic layout takes a bit to get used to, if you already have a keyboard you are using that is not ergonomic. Your hands are spread in a slightly different way. The trick I use is not to look at the keyboard when typing, but just let your fingers find the correct keys. If you are already a “touch-typer” you’ll find the transition easy. Easy to carry, easy to recharge, the Targus is in my Every Day Carry bag permanently. It has a one-year warranty, but I am willing to bet that if not abused, it will last years longer. It does not come with a case, but I found a small padded sleeve that works well to protect the keyboard while aboard in my bag. You might consider doing the same. Great Performance, Great Build Quality, Easy to Use, are just some of the things that make the Targus, an everyday companion.

I bought this January of 2024. I used it a couple times, recharged it, but then didn't end up using it for a couple months. Now that I want to use it again it doesn't turn on anymore. Recharging it doesn't do anything. It just keeps flashing the red indicator light while it's plugged in and immediately dies when disconnected. It holds no charge anymore. While "charging" it won't work as a keyboard.The keyboard itself is great. I like the layout and the portability, but the fact that I can't rely on it to work after left in the drawer for a while means it's very unreliable. The fact there is no good battery indicator either makes battery management a huge problem. The day it drains too much it turns into a paperweight.Unless you use this frequently and charge it regularly, I can't recommend it.

I am so happy to have an ergonomic keyboard that is thin enough for traveling. It is well built and easy to connect to several devices. I love that I can use it with my iPhone, my Samsung tablet, and my Dell laptop. I haven’t tried pairing it to my LG TV yet, but I bet I can.

I usually really like Targus products. And this might be a great keyboard, but it still uses micro-USB, in 2025. Very disappointed. No wonder they don't mention it in the product description. If it was made a few years ago, and that's why it has micro-USB, then the release date is also missing in the product details. Returned for a different option that has USB-C.
