Description says made in America but country of origin is china so which is it?

I just looked on the box my 3 pack came in and it says made in China.

How do these feel, compared to gold toe socks? gold toe has a nice blend of 72%+ cotton and other materials.

Great socks! I wear them everyday with safety boots for work. Way better then gold toe for me. Bought another pack!

Will these socks cover my ankle past a standard 6" work boot? I hate the leather staining my angle when wearing short socks, but hate how long crew

No, Carhartt Men's Force Midweight Socks in 3 Pack (Model# SQ5283-M) are Quarter socks with a height of 5" from the base of your heel. Short Crew socks measure 8" and Crew socks measure 10". To find Short Crew Carhartt socks on Amazon, click on "Visit the Carhartt Store" above the product title. Once in the store, search "SS9933-M" in upper right corner to find Force Midweight Logo Short Sock 3 Pack.

I wear mens size size. Would size large fit? Or what size do i need?

If you wear a size 7-9 in men's a large would fit.
