Shirt Stay - by Max and Slate for Mens Thin Shirt - Slim and Lean

I never realized that by the end of the workday my appearance was not looking very professional. My co-worker pointed this out to me when we went out for drinks after work. He suggested that I try Shirt Stays. They are very common among the military. I never heard of this before. I looked them up on Amazon and decided to try one. I bought, sadly, the least expensive pair I could find. BIG MISTAKE! The quality was subpar. After my first day of wearing them, the clips fell off and the leather became frayed. I was disappointed. But I was determined to try another one. A different brand. My friend suggested Max and Slate. They were more expensive but I was assured by him they would work better as he has not had any trouble with them. This was the best choice I have made in a long time (thanks to Eric). The quality is superb. The clasps do not tear my shirts. The leather is genuine and holds the elastic straps securely. It may take a little while to get used to wearing Shirt Stays but once you get used to them, you barely realize that you are wearing them. The description states that you should wear a thinner shirt when using the rubber clasps. I do and I can see why. I will try a thicker shirt later in the year (it’s summer now). Perhaps they will work with it. If not, I will continue wearing the thinner shirts so I can be tucked in all day long. Way to go Max! Thanks for keeping me tucked in all day long.

Works pretty well.The good: the clamps hold much better compared to the other style which is more a snapping or lever mechanism with some teeth gripping the shirt. These are a little bit more effort to attach, usually requiring both hands. But it's totally worth it as they hold much better.They're not uncomfortable. You can tell they're there, but I'm never feeling constricted or itchy because of them. I guess hairy bear legs and/or if you keep the strap as tight as possible, that might change.The bad: the length adjustment could hold better. I'm in decent shape so I try to make my shirt as tucked and taut as possible. I find that over the course of the day the sliding adjustments slowly give slack.

The clamps require some effort to hold thicker shirts, and it's require some trial and error to fit them while shorts are on of they snatch out while wearing them.Been using KK & Jay for over a year and with daily use for up to 12 hours they work splendidly with the added bonus that they hold your socks up for the whole day, but I was hoping that with 3 clamps, the shirt will be tucked in a neater way than 2 clamps.Though once you manage to fit the clamps, the elsatic strap will skid over the thigh up and start excerting pressure against you skin. Not a comfortable feeling at all and require frequent adjustmen while wearing them to pull them down again.I wouldn't recommend it and will definitely look for other alternatives.

Gifted this to my husband. He loves it especially because he wears suits everyday for work. Holds the shirt in place so it doesn’t get untucked from his pants. The only thing is he has a little trouble putting them on by himself and I wish that they marked which side of the band or of the clips is supposed to be facing outside because we always switch them around and he has to put it on and off him every time and it’s not good if you’re in a rush.

This is review is coming from a person who puts on a suit once a year. 1st time user. The item is very easy to put on and off. I have skinny thighs and it fit comfortably. The true test came at the party when I looked around I CAN tell how nicely tucked my shirt was compared to others who didn’t use one. However, You will feel a little constraint after a while. I just might have to readjust the straps and maybe because I’m just not used to wearing such items. Overall, I’m very satisfied and it works!

This is easily one of the best gifts I ever got my husband. He was a bit taken back when I gave this to him. However, he thanks me everyday before he heads off to work! He says he feels very comfortable all day long knowing that his shirt is always crisp and tucked in. The best part is they make him look slimmer!I don't usually leave reviews but I had to make an exception here. His only suggestion is that you should wear the shirt stay with a thinner shirt. The clips are made with rubber and they will stay on without tearing or putting holes in your shirts. If you do opt for a heavy made shirt, the clips may not all stay on.Bottom line: Loving the shirt stays!!!

I bought theses at the request of my boyfriend and he loves them. It does take some practice to be able to put them on yourself, as I have been helping him. I suggest practicing a few times to be able to put them on yourself. He is a teacher and said he was still able to move his arms and his shirt didn't come untucked.

These things are really awesome. I like them because they don't need to go all the way down to my foot or socks. The best part about them, from the few times I've worn them so far, is that they stay on very well, or at least for me they do, unlike the other kind of shirt stays. I wore them once as a mobile tech in an office having to get up and down multiple times out the day and all the straps stayed attached! So far from my use I would definitely recommend getting these or at least trying them out if you're looking for a shirt stay.

These things are a game changer. They're comfortable and get the job done. The bands are adjustable so height and leg circumference are not an issue.The clips feel somewhat cheap and I'm unsure of how durable they are, but they do as advertised and keep your shirt pulled down nice and taught.This is the first time I've worn an item such as this and it was real easy to put on and get used to. I would definitely recommend a purchase if you want to keep your shirts nice and slim fit throughout the day.

They get the job done! They adjust to your leg size and if you put them in just right you will hardly notice them! I followed another reviews tip with attaching them to my shirt first and it honestly made it so much more easy to put on. Overall I can say these are worth the buy!

They're a bit weird to hook onto your shirt at first (i'd suggest hooking it up to your shirt while your shirt is on THEN putting your shirt on, THEN clipping the garter on).I do photography for weddings and these things worked amazingly well at keeping my shirt tucked all day, which up until now I've been trying to figure out a way to do.Totally recommend these.
