The real deal My wife and I share an Amazon account, so I bought the Turkesterone and Ecdysterone from Psycho Pharma under her name (taking both together). All I can say is, wow. I was skeptical at first, but 3 weeks in and I am noticing strength gains and muscle mass. The most impressive part is my endurance - my workout regimen is intense right now and my soreness is down and endurance has gone through the roof. Definitely recommend. Going to get another couple bottles to run both for 8 weeks. Will update then.

Trust me ... it's a good one, and it's a name you're going to want to remember for future purchases.I decided to try this Ecdysterone due to the recent clinical data showing a surprisingly significant increase in lean muscle mass due to it's anabolic/androgenic actions. While generally being derived from various plants & insects, it acts like a steroid, but without any of the side effects of anabolics/androgenics. It is legitimately shown in research to have similar effects and to be very good boosting metabolism and encouraging lean muscle growth. Some have compared it's effects to a mild cycle without the side effects, but that may be a little hyperbolic. But according to the data, it could be especially beneficial to men getting older or simply hoping to modestly increase their lean muscle mass. Time will tell, but the excellent safety profile (toxicology studies found no harmful effects) makes it worth trying. If I notice anything significant in taking this, I'll certainly update.But here's why you'll love Psycho Pharma. They are so transparent about quality and testing, and so confident in their products, they provide 3rd party lab testing COAs for each of their products. No skipping the lab tests or hiding behind "trust us" charlatan language like some brands (*cough* Carlyle/Horbaach *cough*). 10 days have passed and yet no results. I don't expect from this product to turn me into Arnold Schwarzenegger in 10 days but at least it should have given me a little bit of energy during workout. It's like eating sand filled capsules. Don't waste your money.

I would say that Ecdy is borderline placebo. I would say that I can barely tell that it has an effect -- mostly in the form of better sleep/recovery. I like the dosage of this Psycho product, however, it is expensive at approximately $1.80 per day! Other products I've tried are closer to a dollar or less per day which buys a lot of chicken, aminos, or other stuff.Being on the expensive side yet small benefits, I would normally give this 4 stars, however the bottle that I received had a lot of loose Ecdy powder in it. I would have to wash my hands after each time since they were covered with the stuff. So, I take another star off for sloppy manufacturing. I would also like to see some independent laboratory testing of the purity of the product which can vary with some products.

...not the product, but which is better/more effective.Ecdysterone or Turkesterone.I have both supplements from this brand.I did some searches, but based on the searches I did, there appears to be a leaning towards this; even so,20-hydroxyecdysone (ecdysterone) is the source of turkesterone.It is a type of ecdysterone.See, clear as mud; if one is the source of the other, aren't they the same? (no, not exactly).Ecdysterone promotes lean mass gain by activating the estrogen receptor beta (ER).I haven't been using either supplement long term and I only take on strength training days (usually 3x a week).At this point, I cannot say I've noticed any muscle gain, though maybe...MAYBE a little better definition.I've said about turkesterone, and so far it is my experience with this:It's not like I turn into the hulk while I'm working out, it's more like, "yeah, I can keep going" (less rest between sets) and sometimes more reps.There are other health benefits aside from muscle and bodybuilding that are attractive to me, and may be to you also (do a search or two).The other positive is, there are little known/assumed negatives to both this and turkesterone; love that.Considered to be safe for most, maybe even, all.These are a, on the larger side of medium clear veggie capsule, through which you can see a white/beige powder.I find them easy to swallow with no offensive taste or smell.The bottle contains 120 capsules and for a 1000mg dose, you will need to take 4; so this is a 30 day supply at that dosage.The product headline clearly states that; appreciate that transparency.I'm startin' out at 500mg and will go from there, or alternate with the Turkesterone (or maybe even Epicatechin).Nice product, glad I ordered it.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.
