I use these as cache/temp drives for usenet downloads with sabnzb, they work well and typically hold up to my download internet speed of 400mbps. Occasionally you can see the cache fills or drive slows down as it writes to the long term nand and speeds will dip from 40MB/s to around 8-10MB/s. But overall it will comfortably download a 60Gb file in about 20-30 minutes. Longevity is pretty good on these as well

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I really like mine as a single player game storage but to be honest if your on the fence between a SATA SSD VS a M.2 NVME SSD just go with the m.2 nvme they are way faster. In 2025 the price difference isn’t worth going SATA SSD, this is a very good brand though check out their m.2 nvme they are the best budget pick in this category, and a trusted brand in the pc community. also never had issues with this purchase.

Fast and very easy to setup. The design is minimal and compact. It worked well with the speeds being very fast. I just needed extra storage but wanted the ssd speeds to be along with it and this was what I needed. I has already been going strong for a year. Would recommend.
