The quality of the patch itself is excellent. However, it is not strictly iron-on. To my surprise, it is a velcro situation. Now, that's on me, as the "about this item" section says that it's a hook/loop velcro backing. The Akira patch itself is velcro, and the other half of the velcro is iron-on. It's my fault for not reading more carefully, but I'm still rating 4 stars because it should be made way more apparent in the title of the item listing that it is velcro, as the current title (Iron On Akira Kaneda Text Japanese Anime Emo Punk Scifi Patch, at the time of this writing) is somewhat misleading. If they change the title, I'll change my rating to 5 stars and update this review accordingly.Other than that, the patch itself is really superb quality. Just be cautious. The velcro backing is able to be removed from the Akira patch itself, as it is an embroidered patch that has had the velcro backing sewn on to it, and therefore, is removable with the help of a sharp, thin knife and some patience.
