Q: Does this work to cover amber colored glass or would you need a clear glass to get the right color effect?

If you used multiple coats it might cover the amber glass, but IMO clear glass would definitely work best.

Q: Will this work for light floresent light bulbs?

I do use it for this purpose, but cannot say for the safety of it. I use a light spritz on those bulbs to decrease the coldness of the light given off, and I use the equivalent of a 60 Watt bulb.

Q: I want to use this as a finishing spray on ceramic pieces? Will I still be able to see the colors painted underneath? I’m looking for something tran

If there a darker base yes… if there’s the same saturation it probably will change the color. I painted a piece of glass with yellow Seaglass spray taped it off and sprayed it with red and where I sprayed it with red it turned orange which was my plan. So if you’re spraying it over black, blue ect. You will see the transition of color but there’s no guarantee that will be the same color after the fact
