Simple strainer basket works on diesel
Using this strainer to catch the large chunks in diesel fuel filtration unitStrainer is either 40or 80 mesh (sorry can’t confirm), but does a great job of protecting the downstream gear pump.So far (a couple of months), no comparability probs for diesel fuel. Not sure if it would be the same on petrol/gasoline.Ohh also using it in vacuum service between tank and pump and seems to have no prob sealing vacuum conditions in front of pump

Fits a hunter 290's Yanmar intake
I cracked the plastic cup holding the filter on my old one during winter. This one replaced it quickly and has been working perfectly since.
