I have ordered this Brahmi powder twice and will continue to reorder. It is USDA certified organic (on the back of the package). First thing every morning I put 1/2 teaspoon in warm water and stir with a whisk. Sometimes before dinner again. Since so many reviews use this directly on their hair I wanted my review to make very clear that this can be taken internally as well. Yes in the beginning the flavor takes some getting used to (don't forget this is an herb--not chips and dip) but it is so calming to me as I sip it I enjoy a quiet moment. I don't know how long it takes to feel the calming /memory effects. Probably different for everyone. Don't judge, your body will let you know. And I have great hair!

Take internally as instructed on packaging, and/or mix a few spoons in water and massage in hair before shower and let soak for hour.

Actual weight does not equate to what is written on the bag. It is not actually 8 oz, as seen in the picture. Otherwise, it's been working as expected. Works well with my hair, mixed with the henna to deepen the hue.

Used with a combination of other powders like Moringa, Aztec clay and once with henna. These combined helped define my natural hair pattern and my cousins hair. Before or after the masks I have to use an oil treatment or conditioner and my hair looks and feels amazing.

I opened this up and went to put some in a drink (per other reviewers suggestions!) And the first scoop had some kind of animal hair in it. Very unsanitary for a product meant to be consumed. So I'm not sure if it'll make my hair grow faster, but I'll just use it externally. TYVM. And I haven't seen it improve my hair (yet!) So I can't comment on that.

I did purchase for intetnal use. I use it in hair conditioner, and yo make conditioning hair mask. Smooth soft powder which mixes well with the other powders I bought from the same company. Packaged very secure, bags filled to the max. I love this product and this company. 1st tone using but very satisfied
