Solid platform for action shots
I don’t usually write reviews, but this product does one thing and does it really well — at a great price. I’m using it on a Kong Kosmos helmet with an iPhone 8. The mounting straps are almost at full extension and yield a very stable platform for the phone/camera. Downhill ski footage was very stable and I never felt the phone was in danger of unintended release.

Takes a little adjustment to get it right but once set up it is fairly repeatable. Holds both my phone and action camera securely and keeps the sweat out of my eyes as a bonus.

Sturdy, but a little bit bulky and heavy. It is not suitable for heavy phones. Heavy phones will cause the whole assembly move violently with slight move of the head. My phone is Samsung Note 3.
