After actually diving into Bluetooth development for my own purposes ...
After actually diving into Bluetooth development for my own purposes, I realized that the manufacturer data during advertisement on this device does not fit the iBeacon protocol. This will definitely not work for BLE authentication that conforms to the iBeacon standard.

Pretty sure I wasted my money
First of all, I feel misled by the limited information about this device. I have absolutely no idea what to do with this device. I bought it as a way to broadcast a URL to my business website to nearby mobile users over bluetooth. I have a small photography business and don't have my own "app" to connect the Nyvida to. My understanding was that I could program the device for 1-way broadcast to nearby devices. There was almost no documentation included and I have been unable to find much help online. So, for now, I've wasted $25.

Amazing Product!
This device works exactly as advertised. It has excellent range and after a bit of research you can program it however you see fit. Would buy again!
