Bought this hole punch to cut fabric for buttons. Liked the idea of clean circles without using scissors as I needed to cover over 100 buttons. I mistook retractable center punch for removable. The center punch will poke a hole into the fabric. I tried to remove it but didn’t seem removable. Need to decide if I want to break it off or dull it down.

Arrived in very reasonable time, box factory shrinkwrapped. Comes in a great-looking compact case; contains a dozen cutting screw-on circle blades, ranging from 3/16" to 1-1/4" -- and also translated into metric mm ! Comfortable handgrip, solidly built. Works on leather, chipboard, and fabrics.

Using for punching holes in leather for grommet placement in my leather bags. When used in combination with my one ton arbor press was so easy and crisp clean cut. Be careful to move your fingers out of the way, very sharp.

Excellent product. Lightweight and durable. Having interchangeable cutters make this a lightweight compact kit that provides several sizes in a small package. I used a block of wood to strike against and minimal effort was required. The cutters cut very precisely. I cut template paper to make a paper template for making a part for the car I am restoring. I wish I had one of these when I worked on steam driven machinery in the Navy.

Punches are sharpe and work great. Only down side if you punch material that has adhesive it gets on the punch and will need to clean off. Very happy with the quality and the price. Nice case included also.
