Fabric EmpireGauze Solid Fabric Sold by The Yard (YELLOW)

This is lovely fabric and worth the price, but it is listed as 52" wide and isactually 46"unless you stretch it to measure it. I will say they cut me an extra 30" , but can one figure on that?

I’ve been looking for crinkle fabric and finally found it! The picture and description for what I *ordered* was exactly what I was looking for - a ‘ribbed’ fabric which has a gentle stretch or ‘give’ in one direction (though the description of the last color fabric stretched in BOTH directions, so I only ordered the 4 others). I was excited to receive the order only to find it contained … GAUZE!!!!! The same colors, but gauze instead of crinkle fabric!It feels like ‘bait and switch’! Or some giant screw-up. I have no idea what to do with yards of GAUZE - certainly can’t make summer clothes with it! Usually cut goods aren't returnable….
