JFSM INC Native American Indian Sioux Warrior Statue Sculpture Figurine

The quality of details is overall quite nice. However, it is lighter than I expected. While the level of details is definitely quite good, it is a bit inaccurate as a "Sioux". Lakota people leave in the Dakotas (i.e. cold places) and normally did not go around dressed like that. More specifically they tended to wear "pants" and not just a breech cloth. I am a collector of high end miniatures fully colored by professional artists. After 1 week I decided that I wanted it colored and took it upon myself to make it happen. As far as I am concerned, it looks better with full colors and it provided me with 15 some hours of entertainment.

This little statue of a Sioux warrior has much convincing power and realism in it. One almost expects it to let out a war whoop. There is a little bit of painted color (blue) added for highlights. The description does accurately indicate its height as 7 1/4 inches, but that is small for such a dramatic figure. I still like it a lot, however.

Lovely statue...I had originally overlooked the fact that the description said it was resin based/cold bronze cast and was expecting a hot casted bronze sculpture but it still is really nice and has a lot of detail. Perfect size to put on any shelf, desk or wherever else you would like. I gave it a light polish with one my sunshine polishing cloths I have for jewelry and it really shines now and some of the colors on the statue stand out more. If you are looking for inexpensive and can get over the fact that it's not hot cast bronze "resin free" then this would be a perfect choice.

This is a very detailed and beautiful bronze statue. I bought two of these ( different styles ) and they compliment one another perfectly.

Excellent detail. Quality item. It’s a bit pricey but is really a nice piece of art.
