I have 8 unavoidable environmental allergies and ever since I got this I’ve been able to feel much more relief at home. I like that it has multiple speeds, an up to 8 hour timer, and it has a sleep mode so when you’re sleeping you just hear a gentle hum almost like a white noise machine.

Works good, only 4 star because I didn't realize how loud it could get on the high fan speed.

We live near train tracks, and as much fun as it is to watch the trains go by (I love trains!), they leave a lot of diesel dust in their wake. No matter how much I dust, particles always seem to be in the air. I could see them when the sun shone through the window. I didn't take much notice of it until my cat started having breathing difficulty, and she was diagnosed with asthma. She acquired this in the three years we have had her. She's a senior, and I love her to bits! I couldn't stand seeing her suffer. I knew I had to do something to clean the air. We bought three of these units, one to put in the living room and one for each bedroom. Guess what? I don't see as much dust, and my cat is healthier.These units are very quiet. I never hear the one that is in my bedroom near my head.Side bonuses:1. If you like a bit of white noise, when this machine is on medium, it makes just enough white noise for my insomniac son to get a good night's sleep. I have to have absolute quiet, and I never hear mine going at all.2. Does your phone get hot and sluggish? Cooling it in the refrigerator works, but the moisture in the refrigerator can damage it. Solution? Put your phone on top of one of these units and let it cool off. Don't obstruct the vent, though.

Pros:None so far, I will update this in a week or two if the item actually removes any significant amount of dust etcetera from the air.Cons:The light is utterly obnoxious and very bright, the descriptions claiming it will not disturb sleep are completely false.There is no way to turn of the awful light, a major design flaw for a bedroom device.In sleep mode the light strobes very brightly like a lighthouse in the room, or if you hold down the power button it will then flash bright red and strobe bright white at the same time which is even worse.The fan is only quite in sleep mode when it is barely moving any air at all.A sound meter measures it at 42db on the low setting and 87db on the high setting, so at high you cannot hear someone speaking in a neighboring room.I am running the two I bought at the so called low setting and it is very loud and noticeable at all times.I put a piece of aluminum foil taped on with masking tape over the lights and power button on the one I have in the bedroom, but the horrible lights shine right through the plastic in the fan area and out the top of the purifier like a beacon anyway so I cannot run it while trying to sleep!Conclusion:I will probably return at least one of these, perhaps both if I find they remove nothing significant from the air. I am extremely dissatisfied and disapointed with these so far and find that the description contains several falsehoods so far.

It works pretty well it keeps the room well ventilated and it's really quiet I have no problems with it

The Air Purifier is small in size and will only be effective in small areas like the bedroom.It draws air in thru small holes on all four sides of the unit and passes it thru a round carbon & Hepa Filter cartridge where it blows put the top. It has a round closed recessed area in the center of the top with sponge and round plastic cover with holes that you can add essential oil to. The air flow does not pass thru the sponge so it's not very effective at dispersing the scent.It has three speeds: in Sleep mode the fan speed is very low and might as well just leave it off. Slow speed however does not make that much noise so I use that for sleep. High speed is where the filter is actually going to be the most effective. What I don't like about this Air Purifier is that on High speed it automatically slows the Fan to slow speed after maybe 90 mins. The indicator light shows it's in high but the fan turns on low speed. I suspect this was cost cutting measure designed this way to prolong the life of the fan motor rather than upgrade to a longer life motor.You can vacuum dust from the filter to prolong its life but if it's filtering smoke you will need to replace the filter to be effective. Instruction show a 3 month filter replacement cycle.Replacement filters are $19.99 each but if you buy a 2-pack you can get the cost down to about $15 each.
