Q: Isn't this just a battery operated 5 gallon water jug dispencer typically sold for $15?

I guess you could say that but it does have a magnet at the bottom and when you tap the top it can run for a little bit and shut off on its own. I love it and wouldn’t replace it. It also it not attached to the water jug and has a long hose so you can leave the water in back of the car and have the faucet on your bumper or fender.

Q: Can you use warm water with the Dometic faucet?

No. This is only for dispensing drinking water from a small container.

Q: How does one clean the faucet before first time use?

I wiped mine down with an alcohol wipe and the ran hot water through it
