Good honing steel for the price
It's hard to rate this honing steel since I don't have anything to compare to. The price was right and I think it is exactly what I'm looking for to keep my knives in good working order. The length was is good. Time will tell to see how long the steel cylinder stays ribbed to hone the knives.

Top-notch honing rod
This rod is easy to use. After all, there are no moving parts. It straightens out kinks in your knife edge to make the knife work better. It an be used before using a whetstone. The price was very reasonable, the size is quite adequate, and it arrived very quickly. There appear to be more expensive honing steels out there, and I admit that I am not very knowledgeable about knife sharpening paraphernalia, but I do not see any reason to pay more.

Seems well built, good price, works well. It is a little longer than I was expecting so it sticks out of the knife block....but now we're nitpicking.

Awesome!
This steel works so much better than the one which came with my set of knives. I needed a second one and was so happy with this one that now I want to replace the one I had previously.
