A PVC patch DOESN'T HAVE threads that will snag and pull, so they work great for those times where you will be rubbing, leaning and crashing into stuff; embroidered ones will work great for those other occasions where you want to look sharp and elegant, as their traditional look and the shine of polyester threads will complement your dress uniform.
