This "portable desktop" exceeded my expectations. This could serve as a piece of furniture. Very classy design, sturdy, and generously sized. Absolutely perfect for my laptop plus the items I like to have near: my mouse pad with gel wrist-rest, a separate number key pad, a cup of coffee and a small tablet of paper. Plenty of room for all . The material of the top is one solid piece. The finish looks very durable. Examining the top closely, you can see it isn't really wood but it does appear that way from even a short distance. The narrow 'feet' slide right under my couch or recliner. I cannot think of any thing to complain about :)

I don't write many reviews, and certainly not before I've had a chance to use the product for a reasonable amount of time. I needed something like this, but didn't want to spend too much money. Most of the similar products I looked at were less expensive, but were also less sturdy construction. When shopping, I thought that the sturdiness of this compared to the other choices would be overkill. I've now used this daily for over two years as a computer (laptop) table (pretty much daily) and as a tray table for eating (on occasion). I'm glad I purchased this item. I'm now certain that if I had purchased a less sturdy table I would have been very unhappy. I'm also happy with the cantilever design, as the lack of legs on the near side means my knees don't constantly bump those legs while the angle braces keeps the table top steady.

I ordered this desk, and it came right on time. It took me about ten minutes to put together from opening the box to finish and you DO NOT need ANY tools. It came with a bended metal "screw driver", that's seriously all you need to put this together. I'm a college student so this desk is perfect for my small space and so is the price point. I've had it for a few weeks now and it holding up great. I would highly recommend you support this business :)

I wanted a small desk for my lap top that I could move easily. This fit the bill. It was simple to put together, took 15-20 minutes. It's also sturdy and steady even on carpeting. It's better than the tv tray stand I was using and a lot nicer looking. LOL. And I live in a small apartment so it's good that it's small and I can push it up to the wall out of the way when I'm not using it.

It's a sturdy desk with a nice size working area but it's a little too tall for my purpose, the reason for 4 Stars instead of 5. I wanted to work on the computer while sitting in my recliner but it too tall for that. I thought of switching it out for my adjustable hospital over-the-bed table, but it's too low for that. Make sure you measure well if you have a specific place for it.

Table is very easy to assemble and fairly light weight. Comes with all the necessary pieces and tools to put together. Has a nice modern look.

This table has quickly become a staple in our house. It's simple enough to sit against a wall out of the way and not look tacky and sturdy enough to turn into a storage table. I will order another soon!
