These work just fine without breaking the bank .

Fit to rifle, then add the scope.
The mount of my Win model 75 Target 22 isn't flat top; it has a slight curve matching the barrel, so I was worried that I would need to bevel the bottom of the ring mount, but this fits without the need for hacking. I did have to mount the rings to the gun prior to adding the scope to the rings. That made leveling the scope a little more work, but the end result is a very solid and secure mount. Especially impressive given the low cost.

Sometimes perfection carries a small price
I still cannot get over the incredible fit Modkin rings provide on a true 11mm dovetail. I cannot validate they will work as well on a 3/8" (9mm) dovetail, as I have not mounted that specification with this brand. I will however fully endorse these solid 11mm dovetail rings and tell you I have mounted much more expensive rings that fit poorly compared to these Modkin's.

The mount appear to be a perfect fit for my 60+ year old rimrifle with dovetail grooved receiver.
