Adults can. It’s just a small mouse. Might be a little less comfortable unless the adult had smaller hands.

Q: Is it compatible with an ipad

Yes, for the newer ipads, but it's complicated and you'll have to buy a 'dongle' to adapt USB A to USB 3 or Lightening, probably $20-30 bucks unless you get one on eBay. You're better off buying a Bluetooth capable mouse which will be totally wireless. Be ready to navigate through the setup and accessibility menus of the ipad to get this working, however. (Best bet is to search for a Youtube video of which there are plenty)

Q: Does this come with a mini usb

It's inside like any regular wireless mouse. It's only smaller but the real thing. Once installed into computer, click. You're in.

Q: My back cover won't come off to change the battery. What do I do?

The top cover lifts off and the battery is placed inside. If you click on the picture of the mini small wireless mouse it will show you how to lift off the top cover to replace the AAA battery. To find out the battery slot, please open the top cover gently from the back side, open direction from down to up.
