These are great pieces to fix a window, which I would have been able to fix had my window not been a Landlord Special, and missing the actual hardware to close properly.

I thought I would have to purchase a new 42” window because both of the locks were broken. I found these locks in white that I thought would work perfectly. I was almost right. The locking part was just perfect. However the locking piece was 1/4” wide which was a little too large. I used them anyway. I do, however, have to pull the bottom sash out a little in order to lock the two sashes together.

Only down side is , you have to replace both half's of the old latch unless you already have this type. Otherwise it's perfect for the price.

Needed a new lock for my slider and dog door insert. Replaced the original and this one seems more sturdy and secure.
