Retro fun, works well, nice features. Recommended!
This little guy is a lot of fun for this old fart. It's basically a tabletop AM/FM radio, but it has a nice retro look, with faux woodgrain finish and actual dials to tune to a station, adjust the volume and turn it off. The sound is good for FM radio, but not so great for the bluetooth or USB connector. There are no tone controls. Still, this is not a deal breaker for me.The extras are nice, but not necessary to us. The sound is less good when connecting a phone via Bluetooth to play music. You can plug in a thumb drive full of MP3s to play, but there's no real UI to navigate or select the files. For me, that's OK, this is not that kind of experience.I REALLY like the battery, which works well. Sometimes when cooking we need to plug in a rice cooker or something; it's really handy to be able to unplug the radio and still use it for a while. Very nice, very simple.I had to laugh when we unpacked this at Christmas; my Gen-Z daughter was like 'how do you turn it off?' and I told her 'just turn the volume all the way down.' When it clicked off she had this look of amazement on her face, like she'd just started up a Model T or something! Hilarious, and fun.Highly recommended.

Pretty Retro looking solid radio
I love the look of this retro radio. It’s plastic I guess as other buyers have pointed out but it looks like wood and has some weight to it, feels very solid. I knew from reviews before buying it that it wasn’t real wood, that wasn’t a deal breaker for me and I’m glad I didn’t let that sway me from buying it. One of the deciding factors for me buying it was the fact that it can be plugged in but also run on batteries. I live in Florida and you know hurricanes, so for me that was a plus. You never know when that could come in handy. It was extremely easy to set up literally plugged it in, my phone connected immediately and turned on the knob on the radio and was listening to music within seconds. It found radio stations with no problem that came in good without the antenna up at all, for me I don’t listen to the radio really just my Bluetooth but good that it picks up stations clearly. It sounds good. I mean probably not house party loud good but I just want to listen to music at a reasonable volume and chill, also radios or stereos with the loud thumping bass isn’t for me as it is for some people, gives me a headache, and this seems good in that regard too.

Fantastic sound quality, but it broke almost immediately
The unit has amazing sound quality and good volume. However, when the unit arrived in the mail the FM, AM, and SW options did not work for the first several minutes that the unit was powered on. They did start to work eventually and I chopped it up to some issue with the batteries or the parts. But, within a couple of weeks the FM, AM and SW options stopped working again. No static, just nothing. The Bluetooth still works fine, plugged in and unplugged, so I know it is not a power issue. I contacted the company asking for help but after we got past the most basic checks (is it plugged in, are lithium batteries in, etc) the customer service rep said they would check with an engineer and off a refund if they could not come up with anything. I did not want a refund and was hoping for a simple fix, but ended up with neither of those as I have not heard from the company in three weeks. That said, I guess it is a great and nice looking Bluetooth speaker but that is not what I paid for.Edit: the company did get in contact and send a replacement. I have had the new one for a couple of months and everything works fine. Same sound quality.

I LOVE this beautiful PRUNUS radio. Looks great, sounds great.
This radio is just as great as advertised. Looks and feels great. Great room filling sounds. This radio has a plastic case but is still classy looking.

Not just a radio, it is a piece of vintage history!!!
Fantastic reception without antenna (live in Chicago), and purchased to have my fave radio station, WFMT Classical, come in loud and clear! It does a beautiful job of clarity and volume. Have tried the bluetooth speaker, easy connection. Have not tuned in to SW or AM, as am stuck on WFMT for the profound reception!!! Excellent buy, I would highly recommend, and I know my radios@

An attractive piece of crap
Have you ever gone to the bathroom, looked in the toilet bowl and remarked "that's a nice looking piece of crap"? No, neither have I but that's what I stated less than a year after buying this lovely piece of crap. Initially it worked well but at the 6-month mark of ownership, it started modulating, cutting in and out. At first it seemed to be linked with how long the radio had been on but soon it would cut in and out shortly after turning the radio on. It would do this with any station I tuned. Then, it abruptly went silent and did not respond to different electrical outlets and locations, gentle pats on the top, praying to the "radio gods", repeatedly turning it on and off, first slowly and then rapidly. I initially was a happy camper, now, not so much. I suspect this company makes good stuff, I just happened to get a lemon. I have contacted the manufacturer but have not heard anything from them yet--it's only been 10-14 days ago that I complained to them. We will see what sort of company this is...I'll keep you posted.

Just absolutely beautiful! Sounds nice too
The media could not be loaded. Personally I love oldie looking tech with modern technology. The Bluetooth sounded amazing, though volume was a bit confusing at first it didn’t take long for me to figure it out.I like the instructional manual and frankly it was pretty easy. Haven’t tried the other sound waves yet but the FM one is pretty good. I have it tune to the Jazz channel in my city and I absolutely adore it.Sometimes signal wave can be a bit tricky to pick up though. Had to shift the placement and antennas a bit haha. It’s also a bit annoying cause the radio is needed to be placed by a window and if I dare move it a smidge away to clear my desk, it then start bugging.
