Running on Empty: Refilling Your Spirit at the Low Points of Life

This is a study book that I used years ago. Every chapter deals with an insecurity and a person in the Bible whom God helped through their problem, even those we would overlook. Very good book. I bought kindle because I can no longer read my print copy and do not want to lose such a helpful and encouraging book.

I was a bit disappointed that the book didn’t have its cover, but I guess that shouldn’t effect the inside. I just really like the cover picture of this book. Oh well.

Someone gave me a copy of this book..after reading just a few pages, I knew someone that really needed to read these words. The words are sooooo enxouraging and gives hope to those of us who are truly 'running on empty!'My thanks to Jill Briscoe, the author for her compassion in addressing this very real issue with many of us.And to Amazon for offering it to us.

Jill Briscoe is an awesome speaker/writer and a gifted Christain. I finished the book and it has started a journey through my church!

Using this on a weekly basis as our Sunday School material. Very good way to learn more about the people in the Bible I depth.

My son was very pleased with this book.

Got it in good time and was just what I wanted.

Haven't' started reading it yet. But I'm giving it 5 stars just because its Jill Briscoe who is my spiritual sister in Christ and in my opinion the most gifted teacher and writer of the Word.

Well it promised alot.
