These decks are meant to be an introduction to the Commander format for new players and they serve their purpose well. This is true for all of the Starter decks, to a greater or lesser degree. All of them are worth more than you pay for them if you consider the prices of the cards as of the time of this post. And that isn't counting the many cards that aren't worth a dollar but just add to your collection as a new player.I rate this product a great gift for new players, and a good buy for any Magic Commander player who wants a little value for their money and likes the look of the decklists (you can Google for a full list of the cards in each one)

Decent starter deck although I’d check my local card shop first or some of the other dedicated online card stores first!

Another birthday gift for my son. The kids have been playing with these for weeks now. Much debate and discussion; no arguments (or at least none that I could hear). They look great and have held up well (since April 2025). The kids are learning the game and have enjoyed playing together.

Good deck, everything came in as they should, no bend or damage on the cards.

Item was exactly as described and in excellent condition. Delivery was slightly delayed due to holidays and local weather, but product was excellent.This preconstructed commander deck is very fun to play, well built, excellent for someone learning to play or an experienced player.

If you are looking for a great deck for beginning players, you can't go wrong. And with a few upgrades it's formidable.
