Is this product good for a perm rod set?

I haven’t personally used this product for a perm rod set, however there is a video on YouTube by Naturally Ally called “perm rod set ft. Mielle Organics Pomegranate & Honey product line. I hope this helps and that your hair slay when finished!!!

The stickiness usually comes from an imbalance of product and water. Make sure the hair is clean and wet when applying and apply more water and product as necessary to get the best result. If when applying the product you feel you need more try adding more water first to evenly distribute the product through the hair before adding more product.

has anyone with dry type 3b/c hair tried this? how does it work for you?

It works great on natural hair. If you like the wet curly look it is prefect. If you want the natural curly look, use less. But you will need to wash your hair on the 3rd day to prevent buildup residue.

does it have sulfites in it?
